Awarded Two NIH Grants to Advance Neurological Disease Treatments

Dr Yan Li and her collaborators have received two new NIH grants from the National Institute on Aging and the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. The projects focus on engineering stem cell and organoid-derived extracellular vesicles to advance treatments for Alzheimer’s disease and ischemic stroke, in collaboration with Mayo Clinic Florida, the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, and the FSU College of Medicine.
