FAMU-FSU College of Engineering Awarded $2.24M NIH Grant for Cell-Free Stroke Therapy

Yan Li has received a $2.24 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to advance stroke recovery research. Her work focuses on bio-manufacturing human stem cell-derived extracellular vesicles to create a novel, cell-free treatment that calms brain inflammation and accelerates tissue repair.
