FSU biologist earns $1 million NSF CAREER Award for epigenetics research

Highlighting Assistant Professor Amy Webster for receiving a $1.1 million NSF CAREER Award for her epigenetics research. Her lab uses microscopic roundworms to investigate why genetically identical individuals develop different traits and disease risks. This five-year grant will also fund research into whether these non-genetic differences can be inherited across generations and expand student training in bioinformatics and artificial intelligence.
